Following the confidence-boosting 5-1 victory at home to Maine, the Colonials were prepared for a tough battle at a ground where they lost narrowly last year.

| The Morris County Colonials chalked up an historic first franchise win with a convincing 5-1 victory over Maine Sting. In front of a record attendance at Millburn High School, the Colonials were determined to put right the 2-0 defeat against the Bangor outfit the previous weekend.
